Love the family blend olive oil and the season blends they sell. My personal favorite is the 'Aoli blend's. They sell individual packets I think 3oz ... And the big packets 16oz.. . Love them .. Use the seasoning on everything.

I like coming here to browse the diverse selection of different olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and spices whenever I'm at the Ferry Building. I'd recommend their habanero olive oil for people that like it extremely hot and spicy. I tend to gravitate towards the spicy flavors but that one was even a little too much for me so I can only use it sparingly. It's good for people that like it super-hot and are struggling to find something hot enough. The olive oil sampler package with 5 different flavors (basil, garlic, blood orange, lemon) in smaller sized bottles is great to try many flavors and is cute as a gift.

This olive oil is one of the best in the Bay Area. There is some obvious favorites for all (rosemary, "original", reserve), but they have some unique ones as well they some might find interesting to try in a small bottle just to tip some hot bread in. I'd recommend the Persian lime. The service was quick and they were very accommodating. Since Covid-19 has become an issue with venders, Stonehouse is now only open on Saturdays 8:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

Stonehouse has come a long way online in the last couple of years! So much easier to place orders on their site and quality still amazing. Ordered some treats for quarantine and can't wait to try the bread dipping oil I just purchased. They do an amazing job of packing their oil to keep it safe in transit. Will be ordering again and again!

This place has excellent olive oils, herb blends, as well as superb customer service. They have samples out of all their products so you can taste them to see if it's a no or go with you. I was impressed with the high quality of their oils and herbs. The Napa Valley Blend and the Truffle Salt Blend were amazingly delicious to me. I decided to buy some and can't wait to roast a chicken in it! In fact these two concoctions were so addicting, I could have stood there for a while and made sampling the Napa Valley Blend into my lunch LOL! The customer service was excellent too. The person who helped me was so enthusiastic in sharing her knowledge and expertise with me. I learned a lot about storing the oils and spice blends that I didn't know before. She was so personable and sincere and really wanted me to have the best of her products, which was not necessarily the most expensive either. She went out of her way to find recipe cards and extra information for me. Stonehouse California is a great place to get quality artisan olive oils and spice blends, not to mention the Ferry Building is an interesting place to visit.

Samples are always a great way to lure customers...my brother and I immediately eyed the habanero and it definitely had a kick! I ended up buying the basil one which I think would be nice with pastas. Staff was friendly and also gave us recipe cards. There is a yelp check in for a free spout that left her a little confused but got one anyways!

They have delicious olive oils and a great refill policy for old empty bottles, and I would come here all the time if I lived in San Francisco. I especially love their blood orange and lemon olive oils. Super fruity and great for dipping with bread!

One of my favorite ways to spend a day, is to take the Ferry over to San Francisco and go to Stonehouse California Olive Oil. I taste everything they have on display, and then I buy some delicious olive oil for home. In addition to the jumbo box of classic olive oil, we love to cook with the garlic, basil, and lemon olive oils. Afterward, there are plenty of lovely places to wander around in the ferry building, or I can walk up toward the Wharf and back to get some steps in. When we run out of olive oil, rather than a mundane trip to Safeway, I tell the kids it's time for a ferry day! Bonus: If you're stocking up, spend $75 and you can have it all shipped for free. No need to schlep bottles of oil back on the ferry.

I used to look at the olive oil prices here and think: who pays this much for olive oil when you can get like 10x? 20x? sized bottles at good old Costco for the same price? BOY, am I converted. What I had not realized is that these olive oils are great for finishing dishes. Yes, I am new to the ways of finishing oils and I am a convert! You definitely DO NOT cook with these. But, a drizzle before serving completely transforms & elevates the food. I *heart* the Persian Lime olive oil. It brings a really refreshing touch (think zests, but better) when finishing rice and vegetables or anything you want to add a refreshing / citrus touch to. The Basil olive oil is a little harder for me to use since it's less in my flavor spectrum / cooking, but it's amazing for finishing tomato sauce based dishes. I recently finished a simple chickpea, chicken chorizo tomato dish with this recently and hubby said it's the BEST thing I've ever made. Yes, now I'm totally sold & biased! It's also a nice drizzle on avocado with a sprinkling of salt. The depth & dimension these oils will bring to food is incredible! Also, it's a good source of healthy fats, which is good for you!

This is a great little place to stock up on your gourmet olive oil. They have many to choose from and you can sample just about most of them. Grab a tooth pick and dip your bread and see for yourself. The staff is always greeting and making recommendations. I love that you can sample first, always a plus in my book. By as a gift or for yourself and support local commerce. Excellent for dipping bread!!! When in the ferry building make sure you stop by and take some home. Made in California :)
